John Martin-Hoyes Ltd to construct new centre for Dynex Semiconductor Ltd.

Following the submission of a competitive tender John Martin-Hoyes Ltd have secured the design and build contract to construct a purpose-built R&D Centre and Offices for Dynex Semiconductor Ltd.

Leading electronics firm Dynex Semiconductor Ltd based in Lincoln selected John Martin-Hoyes Ltd to design and construct their new building against stiff competition from other local and national firms.

John Martin-Hoyes Ltd is a privately owned family business based in Lincoln that employs local people and utilises local suppliers and sub-contractors.

The new 2 storey building provides 1,200 square metres of additional floor space expanding on Dynex’s existing 14,000 square metre buildings at their Doddington Road site.

John Martin-Hoyes Ltd are delighted to be awarded the contract which is worth £1.4 million and follows their recent completion of the new office headquarters for Branston Ltd and the commencement at Bishop Grosseteste University College of a major extension to the Sibthorpe library together with new student support facilities worth £2.0 million.

John Martin-Hoyes Ltd will be working closely with John Roberts Architects Ltd, Waldeck Consulting Engineers and CHS Building Services with EBS Consultants as the selected design team. All parties have an established working relationship and the detailed design work is already underway.

Enablement works have commenced on site with an expected completion date for the Contract at the end of June 2012.
